Sopo Ckhoidze was originally hired at the AI startup PulsarAI as a right-hand doer and partner to the founders. Now, Sopo is heading up operations for the company-at-large. Sopo’s role is finding the opportunities in the business and ensuring the company executes against its ambitions. Since Sopo joined in 2017, the company has grown to ~3x the team size and earning ~10x the revenue. Now, Sopo serves as the Chief Operating Officer focused on broadening its offerings across the United States. Before coming to Pulsar, Sopo worked in Sales, Marketing, and Analytics with Bank of Georgia, Liberty Bank, and eMoney.

Vince Madai
Vince Madai is a senior healthcare AI researcher at Charité Berlin with an M.D., a Ph.D. in Medical Neuroscience, and an M.A. in Medical Ethics.
His research focuses on the translation of AI, predominantly in the areas of healthcare and neuroscience.
Vince is also the Chief Scientific Officer at ai4medicine, a company focused on medical AI data analytics and personalized mobile medical AI solutions. Vince also organizes a seires of "Machine Learning in Healthcare" meetups in Berlin and contributes to community building and knowledge sharing.

Paula Mosera
Paula Mosera is the Head of Experimentation in the Accelerator Lab of the UNDP in Uruguay. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics, having studied an MSc. in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She also studied a postgraduate degree in economics and management for inclusion in Uruguay and an executive program of Global Competitiveness and Leadership at Georgetown University. She holds a degree in business administration.
Paula has experience working in the private sector and with NGOs. She has been working on the development of projects focused on social innovation and social entrepreneurship.
She is the former Executive Director of Socialab Uruguay, a social incubator in Latin America, that supports social enterprises at early stages.
She is an alumni of Teach For Uruguay of the Global Network Teach For All. She co-founded an NGO that supports children with non-formal education in Montevideo. She was a professor of social entrepreneurship at the University of Montevideo and a mentor of different entrepreneurs in Latin America.

Irakli Gogatishvili
Prior to joining the Bank of Georgia, Irakli Gogatishvili worked as a data scientist at CSOB in Prague. He was in charge of predictive modeling, management information system development, and building rules for the credit decision engine. Irakli obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the University of Turin, where he also worked as a research fellow. His interests in artificial intelligence development focus on speech and reasoning technologies for business and social good.

Dr. Philipp Hartmann
Dr. Philipp Hartmann serves appliedAI as Director of AI Strategy. Prior to joining appliedAI, he spent four years at McKinsey & Company as a strategy consultant. Philipp holds a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich where he investigated factors of competitive advantage in Artificial Intelligence.

Kyrylo Zakharov
Kyrylo Zakharov has a Master's degree in engineering and psychology. Since 2007 he has been working with the statistical, election, and government data, social surveys, and legal information. In 2018 he co-founded the startup ""Court on the Palm"" (conp.com.ua). His main goal is to use open data of the Ukrainian judicial system to create AI-powered services. "Court on the Palm" is an analytical tool to search, explore and visualize lawsuits. Its byproduct "Wincourt" can process a text of the complaint to predict the lawsuit outcome and give advice on legislation to use in the litigation.

Triin Mahlakoiv
Triin Mahlakoiv has more than 10 years of marketing and product management experience in tech startups in the domains of fintech and cybersecurity to health tech. She is the co-founder of North Star AI, a community-driven organization with a mission to solve the AI talent shortage and raise the application of AI technologies in Estonia and in the region. She is also the product manager at Reconeyez, a market-leading video verification system helping companies and individuals to prevent crime.

Alex Lobzhanidze
Alex Lobzhanidze has Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri and has been working at Amazon as a Software Engineer for over seven years. He specializes in recommendation systems, specifically using Machine Learning to generate personalized recommendations for customers.

Nikoloz Mamisashvili
Nikoloz Mamisashvili is a data scientist and practitioner with economic background. He studied Econometrics at Tbilisi State University, Georgia, and Data Science at Sapienza University, Italy.
Nikoloz's main experience stems from the finance industry. He worked as Data Scientist at OPPA, Liberty Bank. He recently joined the Bank of Georgia and now he is Senior Data Scientist and Solution Architect.

Azamat Omuraliev
Azamat Omuraliev is a data scientist at a leading Dutch bank ING, working on personalization and recommender systems. He is originally from Kyrgyzstan where he co-founded School of Data, a non-profit bringing data science and data journalism education to local organizations and students.

Nikita Lukianets
Nikita Lukianets is a Founder of the Open Ethics (www.openethics.ai) initiative that fosters the inclusive dialogue between experts and citizens to design systems where humans and AI successfully work together. Nikita is also a Founder and CTO at PocketConfidant AI (www.pocketconfidant.com), a 24/7 coaching technology powered by artificial intelligence. Nikita received an MBA in innovation management from Politecnico di Milano School of Management and an M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. While working in Microsoft at Developer and Platform Evangelism Division, Nikita was leading a startup support program helping young technology companies to develop their products for scale.

Ana Chubinidze
Ana Chubinidze is a founder of the non-profit organization AI Governance International and an independent consultant in the field of AI Ethics and Governance. She is also a founding editorial board member of Springer Nature’s AI and Ethics journal. Ana worked for Big 4 consulting firms in AI Governance. Prior to that researched foresight regulations for Artificial Intelligence with the project Regional Academy on the United Nations. Her academic background is in international relations with a focus on international law and economics; non-academic interests in Data Science and neuroscience. Ana is passionate about engaging various disciplines in AI development and unleashing its best potentials to serve everyone on earth.

Dmytro Rizdvanetskyi is a Data Science Manager and all-around professional with his portfolio spanning Data Science and AI projects in Marketing, E-Commerce, Logistics, and Operations. He is most regarded for his hands-on knowledge in building Data Science teams and organizing Data Science products delivery process, policy and routines.

Casey Bennett
Casey Bennett’s work focuses on artificial intelligence and biomedical informatics, including the areas of robotics, human-robot interaction, data warehousing, machine learning, clinical decision support, and personalized medicine. He has also led teams developing robotic sensor systems to monitor in-home patient health, as well as interactive robotic faces.
He is currently working on projects using artificial intelligence to augment clinical decision-making in chronic illness, utilizing robotic pets for therapeutic purposes with elderly patients, and developing interactive robotic systems to study social cognition.

Vojtěch Nosek has Master’s and doctoral degree in Human geography and regional development. In the last ten years, Vojtěch has been focusing on technology transfer (he used to be a technology transfer manager at the Czech Technical University), cooperation between academia and business, and innovative technologies. He co-founded and managed University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (focusing on applied research). He has co-founded, and is acting as CEO, in the UNICO.AI company.

Zakaria Babutsidze
Dr. Zakaria Babutsidze is an Associate Professor, co-founder and Director of MSc in Digital Business and Artificial Intelligence at SKEMA Business School (FR). He is also an Economist at OFCE, Sciences Po Paris (FR). He holds degrees in Economics from Tbilisi State University (GE), Central European University (HU) and Maastricht University (NL). He has held visiting positions at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland (US) and Griffith Business School, Griffith University (AU). Dr. Babutsidze's research spans multiple disciplines and revolves around the topic of individual decision-making.
