Amber Macintyre

Dr. Amber Macintyre is Project Lead of the Influence Industry Project at Tactical Tech, developing investigative research and capacity building projects on data, politics, and activism.

Amber gained her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London examining the use of personal data in civil society campaigns, and was based on her previous experience working with civil society campaigns, including her role as Digital Activism Officer at Amnesty International.

She holds a Masters in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from University of Peace, Costa Rica.

Amber has provided expertise to the Council of Europe, International Foundation for Electoral Studies, Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, and the UK Electoral Commission.
